ASEAN region has reported a total of 15,911,356 Covid-19 cases

INTERNATIONAL: On 20 January 2022 the ASEAN region has reported a total of 15,911,356 Covid-19 cases, this includes 310,941 deaths. The data was released by Worldometer, a website that is compiling Covid-19 statistics from around the globe.

At 10:00 a.m this morning, total cases and deaths per ASEAN member state are:
- Indonesia: 4,275,528 people (144,192 deaths)
- Philippines: 3,293,625 people (53,044 deaths)
- Malaysia: 2,817,163 people (31,831 deaths)
- Thailand: 2,353,062 people (21,990 deaths)
- Vietnam: 2,078,087 people (36,114 deaths)
- Myanmar: 533,604 people (19,306 deaths)
- Singapore: 296,077 people (844 deaths)
- Laos: 127,347 people (507 deaths)
- Cambodia: 120,877 people (3,015 deaths)
- Brunei: 15,986 people (98 deaths)
